Vision

Jesus 24/7/365

“But thanks be to God, who in Christ always leads us in triumphal procession, and through us spreads the fragrance of the knowledge of him everywhere. For we are the aroma of Christ to God among those who are being saved and among those who are perishing, to one a fragrance from death to death, to the other a fragrance from life to life.”

2 Cor. 2:14-16

Calling

My call to ministry began shortly after I surrendered my life to Jesus Christ. As I grew in my relationship with Him, the Lord impressed upon my heart the words of Jesus:

“The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few.” (Matthew 9:37)

I sensed the Lord asking, “Whom shall I send? And who will go for us?” and, like the prophet Isaiah, my response was:

“Here am I! Send me.” (Isaiah 6:8)

From that moment, I committed my life to serving Christ wherever He would lead me. To prepare for that calling, I attended Trinity Bible College and began serving in ministry. Over the past 20 years, the Lord has given me the privilege of serving His Church in a variety of roles, including Pastor, Interim Pastor, Youth Pastor, College Pastor, Children’s Pastor, Board Member, Sunday School Teacher, pulpit fill, Small Group Leader, and many other areas of ministry.

Through each season, Christ has remained faithful, continually shaping, teaching, and equipping me to serve His people and proclaim His gospel.

After my wife went home to be with the Lord last year, I entered a season of grief, prayer, and seeking God’s direction. During that time, the Lord renewed and confirmed His calling on my life. I sensed Him saying that it was time to fully embrace the ministry He had called me to and to return to full-time service for His kingdom.

Today, my desire is the same as it was when I first answered His call: to faithfully follow Jesus Christ, preach His Word, care for His people, and serve wherever He leads.
